The 5 North Youth Conference simply put, is the Best Conference of its kind in the Area! The Conference acts as a governing body with well established playing rules and standards that are first and foremost, fair to all competitors.
The 5 North Track & Field and Cross Country Conference competition is exclusive to its member clubs. Through association with our member teams, we provide some of the best sporting events in the Central Valley. Our Standards have been well established using technology to its fullest. The 5 North Track & Field Conference uses fully automatic timing systems (FAT) for our regular season and Championships meets.
5 North Track & Field and Cross Country Conference consist of 8 teams teams, Tracy Hornets, Tracy Roadrunners, Manteca/Lathrop Hawks, Mountain House Broncos, Patterson Cheetahs, Hayward Hurricanes, Brentwood Greyhounds, Stockton Speed, Modesto Comets and the Tri-Valley Stars. These teams will compete against each other in league competition for individual and team titles. Our conference championships top 4 runners in each age division will qualify for the 5 North All Star Team. The 5 North All Star team will compete against top teams at regional and national competitions. Each team will practice 2 or 3 days a week and compete on weekends.

We will open Sign-ups for the 2025 Track & Field Season Starting in January 2025. The fee for PARTICIPANTS (New & Returning Runner) is $288, The Fee for Early Registration is $260 per team member (Uniform not included) and $325 For Late Registration. (All runners MUST COMPLETE 2 TEAM FUNDRAISER)
Sign-ups for the 2025 Cross Country Season Starting in September 2025. The fee for Early Registration fee is $145 per Runner. Open Registration for NEW & RETURNING PARTICIPANTS is $165.
The 5 North Youth Conference has been voluntarily helping boys and girls , to develop athletically, academically and socially. Tracy, Jefferson, Lammersville, Manteca, Patterson, Brentwood, Livermore, Hayward, Stockton, Modesto, Pleasanton and Dublin Unified School Districts have made this possible by allowing use of their athletic facilities.
We are a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to youth through athletics and mentor ship. We encourage scholastic achievement. We offer a year round sports program through track & field and cross country for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy environment for our youth to develop in both Mental & Physical as athletes and as a young person. We encompass the Cities of Tracy, Mountain House, Manteca, Lathrop, French Camp, Patterson, Brentwood, Hayward, Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, Pleasanton & Dublin.
